I found other issues too. I find basic accessibility issues. Not only that, but I feel like this website needs a complete rewrite (at least the user dashboard part). I'll recommend using Shadcn for the UI, because it provides good UI with accessibility and customizability.

Building a project took an unexpected amount of time, which was odd.

When building the first user, it asks me to choose a user type (admin or customer) and some other weird info like card / billing etc. I was expecting something like email and password.

I find the colors to be very dark/light. It's just bad. Dark mode doesn't mean DARK, it means a darker shade so it doesn't heart people's eyes, and find payloads dark mode to be worst that just a light mode.

All of this bothered me, and made me think that this my not be a good product, however before dealing with any of this, I was like, Payload is awesome.

I'm not sure if this makes sense, but I just wanted you guys to know about this. I know this is not the right place for this at all! But it was just easier to dump it all here.

So, the home page is in dark schema and has something like #000 for black and #fff for white, not just that but some sections have a white schema? This is insane! (in a bad way).

Start at the reported Payload Cloud URL and reproduce the text-overlap and vertical-alignment problems shown in the screenshots. Treat the later dashboard, color, accessibility, and setup comments as additional reported concerns, and confirm with the maintainer which specific symptoms are in scope. Done means the agreed visual issues no longer reproduce and the affected views remain usable.
