Description
As a developer I should review allowing users to configure a readonly directory for RAG-like access so local documentation/skills/rules/guidelines can be searched/indexed relative to PatternFly guidance.
Assumptions and questions
-
Currently, would be a user-configured absolute path
-
Has to be readonly
-
Images should be included, large images are metadata, binaries are metadata
-
Review persistence and indexing to make it snappy
-
Relates to a users local SKILLs, see #182 or PF-4112
-
Ties into #18 or PF-3126
Jira Issue: PF-4425

Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing persistence and indexing behavior, then read related issues #182 and #18 for the local skills and guidance context. Done means a decided design for a user-configured absolute readonly directory, including image and binary metadata handling and the expected indexing and persistence behavior.
