Description
Most fields denoting sizes (e.g. of keys) are marked as usize at the moment. To make it less ambiguous, the ones representing sizes in bits should be set to u16, u32 or other types unrelated to word size on current platform (as the size itself is not related to the memory of the platform)

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by searching the crate for fields typed as usize, then determine which represent sizes in bits rather than platform memory sizes. Done means those bit-size fields use fixed-width types while unrelated size fields remain appropriate, with the existing test suite still passing.
