Additional context

Deck-ifier: Is a fork of ChimeraOS 'Gamescope Session Plus' which is a port of Valves 'Game Mode' aka 'Gamescope Session'.
Deck-ifier this fork, is specifically made to allow for porting to any distro, this should be possible with Pacstall as its targeted at Ubuntu usage cases.
Hopefully with a little tinkering, this should be able to run if Pacstall script could pull in all the dependencies and set it up on Ubuntu, this would make a lot of people happy I know this, as then they could have a Game Mode login for their PC, laptop or even a gaming handheld (especially using Rhino Linux on a handheld as I have seen people who have installed Rhino Linux on a Steamdeck, who want a rolling release with a Steam Big Picture Mode).

Research direction

Start by reviewing the Deck-ifier fork at the linked repository and compare its dependencies and setup requirements with Pacstall program conventions. Determine what Ubuntu packaging work is needed for the fork, then verify that the resulting package builds and installs the requested session successfully.
