Description
When you start >1000px and resize to <1000px and back up, you keep the mobile layout. Or maybe it's skipping the choose your adventure modal.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the resize sequence from above 1000px to below it and back, using the attached recording as the behavioral reference. Trace the frontend resize and layout-selection entry points, including the choose-your-adventure modal, and verify that crossing the breakpoint restores the desktop layout and expected modal behavior.
