Description
We need to update the Nexus public API and the internal plumbing of guest interfaces to support specifying IP addresses of either protocol version. We need to allow at least on V4 or V6 address, and potentially one of each. This will be the tracking issue for that work, I'll update here as I create the actual task issues.

Research direction
Start with the Nexus public API and the internal guest-interface plumbing mentioned in the issue. Trace how interface IP addresses are currently represented and validated; done means the API and internal paths support at least one IPv4 or IPv6 address, with the intended combinations clarified in the task issues.
