Description

During the SP component update process we check several times whether the update has completed by verifying the version. It would be nice to have a helper method for each component in the style of precheck and post_update that only verifies this.

Research direction

Locate the SP component update process and the existing precheck and post_update methods. Read the repeated version checks to understand their shared behavior and identify the appropriate component abstraction. Done means each component has a helper in the same style that verifies whether its MGS-driven update is complete.
