Description
Today BGP announce-sets are configured by an operator with an explicit list of prefixes. Given we have visibility and control over both the operator-configured External IP space and the BGP announcement, a useful feature / config simplification would be to have an option to have BGP automatically announce/withdraw a prefix for each subnet used as External IP space upon addition/deletion of the config.
I'm envisioning this operating similarly to a redistribute connected on a traditional BGP router. In our case, this would function more closely to redistribute external-ip.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the BGP announce-set implementation and external IP configuration handling; done means external IP subnets are automatically announced on addition and withdrawn on deletion, with the behavior covered by appropriate tests.
