Description

It's currently possible to launch a topology with nodes that have the same name. This causes late-stage launch issues or undefined behavior. This should be caught immediately on launch and an error returned.

Research direction

Start by locating the topology launch entry point and the existing validation or error-handling path. Reproduce a launch with duplicate node names, then verify that launch fails immediately with an error rather than reaching a later stage or undefined behavior.
