OCIS for photo sharing: Faster, more reliable archiver

I am using OCIS to share photos via share link with other people that do not have own accounts. Photos are stored in folders and one share link can include several folders with several hundred photos in total.

People tend to download the whole archive that is presented under the share link. In a current example this is about 1.5 GB and about 400 files.

The archiver needs really long to build a downloadable archive, while status information is limited to a small animation on top of the screen (and: sometimes the archiver isn't working at all).

## Describe the solution you'd like
I would like the status of the archiver displayed in a separate window, an overlay or something like that. It should be displays with percentage, maybe time left. If it fails, an error message should be displayed.

## Describe alternatives you've considered
A better gallery view may be sufficient to not need to download the archive.
A faster archiver would be sufficient to not need the status.
