Description

Problem:
The current Single Variable Calculus offering is split up into three courses (two 13 weeks courses and one 6 weeks courses for a total of 32 weeks).
This is a lot of time.

Duration:
This should most often be 1 day from the date of posting.

Background:
The current offering can take 173 hours if you go fast (5 to 6 hours per week) and 320 hours if you do 10 hours per week. It is also split up into three courses that span over 32 weeks.
On the other hand 18.01SC on OCW is a single course and MIT expect students to take 150 hours on it.

Proposal:
It's better, in my opinion, to replace the current version with 18.01SC.
We don't lose in quality because it's a SC version.

Research direction

Review the repository's current three-course Single Variable Calculus offering and compare it with the linked MIT OCW 18.01SC syllabus. Done means determining whether the current offering should be replaced by 18.01SC and documenting the resulting curriculum change.
