Description
PR #2482 removed some RHEL and CentOS conditions from the ELN image definitions. On the surface this makes sense; the conditions were left-overs from the creation of the ELN distro definitions as copies from RHEL 10. But, if I'm not mistaken, the reason we added ELN 11 was to prepare for RHEL 11 such that, when the time comes, we can copy those definitions into a distrodefs/rhel-11 directory and start testing.
Should we keep RHEL conditions in ELN so we don't need to reintroduce them?
I'm not sure, really. I think it's a good idea to have them. It ensures the transfer is smoother. On the other hand, they'd be ineffective and essentially useless for the time being.

Research direction
Review PR #2482 and the current ELN image definitions to identify which RHEL and CentOS conditions were removed. Compare those definitions with the planned distrodefs/rhel-11 layout and determine whether retaining the conditions supports a clean future transfer. Done means documenting and implementing a decided approach.
