Description
Not sure if I am correct in understanding that ORIENTDB_ROOT_PASSWORD environment variable is used only when root password is not available in orientdb-server-config.xml (at first run?). Once the password is saved in the config file, this environment variable is ignored in favor of the password saved in config file.
If it's true, it should be documented in the docs, specially the docs relating docker. Which would be a helpful reference for scenarios when user is using a bind mounted config or running the container with an updated env var.

Research direction
The issue names Docker documentation and orientdb-server-config.xml but no documentation file or test. Start by reviewing the Docker-related docs and the documented ORIENTDB_ROOT_PASSWORD behavior on first and subsequent runs. Done means clearly explaining when the variable is used and how bind-mounted configuration or an updated environment value affects it.
