Description

Is this a BUG REPORT or FEATURE REQUEST?

FEATURE REQUEST

Can I get to know the performance benchmark numbers for CSI driver for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure?
For e.g. How much time CSI driver takes to create/attache/detach/delete 100, 1000,.. PVCs.
Does the time increases linearly/exponentially when number of PVCs to be created at a time grow in Kubernetes cluster? etc.

Versions

CCM Version:

Environment:

  • Kubernetes version (use kubectl version):
  • OS (e.g. from /etc/os-release):
  • Kernel (e.g. uname -a):

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the CSI driver's volume lifecycle operations and any existing benchmark tooling, then define a report covering create, attach, detach, and delete timings at the requested PVC counts and describing how scaling behaves.
