Description
We never tell people when to do this, it's currently left as an exercise for the reader. This is a problem if they neglect to do this step but then install a staging plate from us that came with a rubber foot pre-installed.

Research direction
Start by locating the documentation for assembling or installing rubber feet on 3.0.5 machines, since no file or test is named. Add clear instructions for when to install the feet, including the case where a staging plate already has one pre-installed; done means readers can follow the step without ambiguity.
