Description

I am currently testing the India map, and looking for Kottapalle, near Chagalamarri, returns no results. Same thing with nearby towns of Settiveedu or Godiganuru. Chagalamarri seems to be a bigger city and can be found. Granted, there are about 650,000 locations in the country but it would be good to know where the cutoff stands (e.g. no village under 5k inhabitants)

Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are mentioned. Start by reproducing searches for Kottapalle, Settiveedu, and Godiganuru in the India map, then trace how the map data is selected and indexed. Done means identifying the current cutoff and determining whether these towns should be included or the cutoff should be documented.
