Description

I use mt7921e in mesh mode, but it failed to negotiate correct TX rate.
As the following screenshot

and in ap mode TX rate is OK

Does anyone know why the TX rate negotiated for a station connected in non-AP mode is incorrect?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the mt7921e behavior in mesh mode and compare its negotiated TX rate with AP mode, using the screenshots as the reported reference. Trace the driver path involved in station-rate negotiation and determine what differs for a station connected in non-AP mode. Done means the cause is identified and mesh mode negotiates the correct TX rate, with a regression check if the project provides one.
