Description

Hi, I has MT7612en which run on X86, which has set to 80MHz,AC mode, but the txpower is very low, only 3dbm, is this a bug?

root@BlackCrowRouter:# iw dev wlan0 info
Interface wlan0
ifindex 18
wdev 0x2
addr b0:16:75:f7:0a:cb
ssid BlackCrow_5G_80MHz
type AP
wiphy 0
channel 149 (5745 MHz), width: 80 MHz, center1: 5775 MHz
txpower 3.00 dBm
root@BlackCrowRouter:
# `

then I find the new device that is mips, mt7628AN+mt7612en,the txpower is the same with it , only 3.00dbm txpower!

Research direction

Start with the reported iw dev wlan0 info output for the MT7612en on X86 in 80 MHz AC mode, then compare it with the MT7628AN+MT7612en device described in the issue. The work is complete when the cause of the 3.00 dBm report is identified and the expected txpower behavior is documented or corrected.
