Description

When about 8 devices at different distances are connected to the router, but several devices are close to it(2-4), it reboots and / or disconnects clients. I noticed that the router reboots and disconnects clients only when there is an iPhone device next to the router. For example, this is an iPhone 6 plus.

I had to block the user iPhone 6 and only after that the router stopped rebooting.

Device Newifi3 d2

Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure on the Newifi3 d2 with several nearby clients, especially an iPhone 6 Plus, and collect the kernel panic output. Trace the MT7621/MT7603EN wireless path involved in the reboot; done means the router no longer panics or disconnects clients under the reported conditions.
