We are observing a performance degradation and loss of functionality when using 1 or more clients on the card. Under continuous TCP load (iperf3, 10 Mbps/client), wireless throughput degrades progressively and eventually fails.

We've observed the first client failure to occur within 24 hours, often within 12 hours of testing. Clients appear to degrade at different times. The longer the test has been permitted to run, more clients fail.

Once the failure state is reached, we have not found a method for recovering the device, a reboot is necessary. Resetting the interfaces, or reloading the mt7996e kernel module, has not resolved the failure.
