Description

26.0.0.6: https://github.com/OpenLiberty/open-liberty-s2i/releases/tag/26.0.0.6 is openliberty's last release version, yet the automation has bumped it to 26.0.0.7. We imported this in samples and it is causing installation failures in OKD. Could we fix the automation so that it checks if the version exists before bumping it?

Research direction

Start with community/openliberty/imagestreams/openliberty.json and trace the automation that changed its version to 26.0.0.7. Check how release versions are discovered or validated, then confirm the automation leaves the image stream at an existing Open Liberty release and no longer causes the reported installation failure.
