Research direction

Start with the authentication configurations documentation in data-prepper-plugins/otel-trace-source and inspect how HTTP Basic authentication is currently exposed. Clarify the expected OAuth2 and mTLS flows, configuration options, and validation criteria with maintainers; done should include agreed support and corresponding verification.
