Description
Hi, I've just upgraded from 1.4.0, and I now have a big status bar at the top of the window that I don't care about. Would it be possible to have an option to hide it in the settings?
Also, I've an AZERTY keyboard, and Ctrl+Q doesn't quit the program; it just selects all (like Ctrl+A).

Research direction
No file or test is named. Start by locating the settings UI for the window name/status bar and the keyboard shortcut handling; separate the two requested behaviors while tracing both. Done means the status bar can be hidden through settings and Ctrl+Q quits correctly with an AZERTY keyboard.
