Description
Summary
"it would be really handy to be able to sort search results based on which was updated most recently" - from a user
What would you like to achieve?
"when I'm looking for existing codelists and I'm interested in the most recently updated version - to avoid codelist rot. Because dictionaries are changing all the time e.g. there are many asthma diagnosis codelists, and to find the one which is more contemporary its a case of clicking through each option"
Who would benefit and how?
This was most recently asked. However, it has been raised before as part of improving the search codelist functionality.
Researchers would like to be able to find codelists that are most relevant to them quickly without having to open each codelist to interrogate them

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named in the issue. Start by locating the codelist search implementation and how each result exposes its update date; the work is done when users can sort search results by most recently updated codelist without opening each result.
