Description

Hi there,

Is there any "legal" way to connect to redis from a worker created via the new init_worker_by_lua* directives?

Anything I try gives me the "API disabled in the context of init_worker_by_lua*" error.

Research direction

Start with the init_worker_by_lua* context and the lua-resty-redis usage described in the issue; verify whether a supported Redis connection path is defined for workers created there. Done means the issue has a documented, reproducible answer or an agreed implementation scope that accounts for the API-disabled error.
