Description

Hello! I would like to implement a non-blocking wrapper for lzmq to use it inside lua nginx scripts. Is there any guidance or a walkthrough for how can I approach this task?

Unfortunately I cannot use the cosocket API directly, because zeromq library uses sockets internally and provides its own zeromq socket API which is then wrapped by lzmq.

Research direction

The issue names no files or tests. Start by comparing the cosocket API with lzmq and ZeroMQ's socket API, then define an implementation approach for a non-blocking wrapper usable from Lua nginx scripts; done would require an agreed design and working integration.
