Understand the User Story
Operator
  • As an OpenMCP landscape operator I want to test if a new version of the OpenMCP landscape is fulfilling all requirements and wether there are any regressions before updating the landscape.
Contributor / Developer
  • As an OpenMCP developer I want to test if my feature works within a OpenMCP landscape locally
  • As an OpenMCP developer I want to test regressions when doing changes in OpenMCP operators locally
  • As an OpenMCP developer I want my pull request to be validated within a OpenMCP landscape
All
  • It must be possible to "spin-up" a landscape locally and exchange a specific controller by a different version of that controller (the one an engineer is currently working on)
  • Specific features (to be tested) must be switchable on/off
  • Optional: Having a local controller and test that with other controllers running centrally
