Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently there is no field attached to a submitting author that allows for their pronouns to be defined. This is important for editors, and also in particular for journals with open review where the editors and reviewers may wish to refer to the author by their preferred pronouns when writing their review.
Describe the solution you'd like
A field or method of designating pronouns that is kept with the author's metadata and which follows through to open review (at least) so that reviewers know how to refer to the author, possibly able to be made visible beyond such a point as required.
Describe alternatives you've considered
A custom submissions field, however this would not keep such information with the author's profile.
Additional context
Requested by [in[Transition who operate open review and publish reviews with videographer content, so it is important that eds/reviewers know of the person's pronouns for this purpose.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by tracing how submitting authors and their metadata are stored, then follow that data into the open-review workflow. Done would require an agreed design and an implementation that preserves pronouns with the author's metadata and exposes them to reviewers as intended.
