Describe the bug
When you utilise the exclude feature of the carousel and add articles to the exclude field this will cause the carousel to break.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Add carousel
- Mark Exclude
- Add articles to the selected field
Expected behavior
Carousel should render excluding those articles.
Note: Locally the carousel simply fails to load, in production a server error is returned.
