Section editors/editors assigned copyediting tasks complete copyediting workflow instead of/as well as their copyediting task

The basic problem is that there is a confusion between an assigned copyediting task for an article and the completion of the copyediting stage of the workflow. This happens when an editor/section editor assigned to an article also acts as copyeditor for the article. There is a lack of intuitive process here because of the rigid nature of the copyediting workflow in Janeway that means the actor cannot distinguish between their higher level oversight of an article and more granular tasks for that article. This leads to the editor completing the copyediting workflow prematurely and the article must be moved back to copyediting.

The psychology of the editor/copyeditor must be something along these lines:

1. See copyediting on left-hand side bar of JW
2. Upload copyedit to article as editor via logs and docs, or some means outside of assigned copyediting task (or by replacing file within their assigned copyediting task as editor)
3. Complete copyediting workflow stage assuming that it completes their open task without author review

or:

1. Complete copyediting task in the normal manner via email link or via dashboard
2. Then go into the editorial view of article via left-hand navbar
3. See task is complete but copyediting stage still open
4. Assume that the workflow stage needs to be completed ('I thought I hadn't done something right' is a common email complaint)
5. Complete c/e workflow stage as well to make sure 'everything is completed' when it shouldn't be moved to typesetting yet.

Describe the solution you'd like
A method where the editor as copyeditor is warned or prevented from moving an article to typesetting until their open c/e task is complete, and/or there needs to be extremely clear warnings about the editor's role being copyeditor too, with a link taking them to their open tasks if they are also copyediting an article. Essentially there needs to be a fundamental redesign of the c/e process but in the short term better signposting and safeguards might be implemented.

N/A. We try to educate editors about this but it doesn't work in practice.

This problem occurs soo frequently it really needs to be addressed in some capacity sooner rather than later.
