Description

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently there is no easy way for an editor to write a summary of the peer reviews for the Author other than in the email body.

Describe the solution you'd like

  • Provide a new interface where an editor can view all reviews for a given article and allow them to write a summary of the reviews.
  • Editors can then choose to send the summary, the summary and the reviews or just the reviews to the author.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Leaving the process as is...

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the editor peer-review workflow and the article review interface, then determine where review notifications are composed. Done means an editor can view reviews, write a summary, and choose whether the author receives the summary, reviews, or both.
