Now that the FAPI2 SP & MS final certification programs are open ( https://openid.net/fapi2-0-final-conformance-tests-available/ ) it seems sensible to think about deprecating the certification tests for FAPI2 SP ID2 / MS ID1.

The certification team are aware of both ConnectID in Australia & CBUAE who are using the draft currently, and I believe both intend to migrate to final relatively quickly, the certification team will work with them both.

Are the WG members aware of any other users of those versions of the specs/tests?

If not we’d like to propose closing the certification program & removing the tests, as an initial date (subject to agreement with CBUAE / ConnectID, we’ll update the working group if either of them prefer to do a slower transition) I’d like to suggest end of March 2026.
