Description

About # 2. Credential Request

The credential request should enable the verifier to solicit the disclosure of one or more attributes that may appear in multiple digital credentials.

In some cases, the holder (i.e. the natural person) can choose the issuer.
An example: it should be possible to request a grade type obtained at university without specifying which one.

Research direction

Start with the Credential Request discussion referenced as #2 and review the repository’s existing digital-credential presentation model. Clarify how a verifier can request attributes without naming a specific issuer, including attributes distributed across multiple credentials. Done means the request semantics and holder issuer-choice behavior are defined consistently with the project’s harmonization goal.
