Description

It would be good to have a position about post-quantum cryptography in DCHP and we should make sure it fits in with plans for OpenID4VP and ISO 18013-5. For the latter, ISO SC17 WG10 is already actively working on PQC and the direction there seems to be mostly hybrid. For DCHP, I think the main things we have to worry about are reader authentication and response encryption.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the DCHP context alongside the OpenID4VP and ISO 18013-5 requirements, including the hybrid PQC direction from ISO SC17 WG10. Done means a documented position that addresses PQC for reader authentication and response encryption and explains how it fits both standards.
