Description
I'm using the library through Carthage and would like to be able to pin to a version rather than having to use master or a specific commit hash to get the latest changes.
Would it be possible for creation of a new tag version release on Github that is in line with the latest changes on the master branch? e.g. 1.6.3.
Thanks!

Research direction
Inspect the repository's existing release and GitHub tag history, then compare the latest published tag with the master branch. Confirm the expected version, such as 1.6.3, and check how Carthage consumes tags. Done means the requested release tag is created in line with the latest master changes, if the project’s release process permits it.
