Description
We're using a loopback server (on macOS) for OAuth but it seems to be failing on Chrome since AppAuth is hard-coded to using http. How can we make this work with https? AppAuth will need to handle this, and also ignore any SSL connectivity failures.

Research direction
No file or test is named. Start by locating AppAuth's loopback-server handling for macOS and its hard-coded HTTP behavior; determine how HTTPS redirects and SSL connectivity failures should be handled, then verify the behavior against Chrome and resolve the security implications.
