Description
I am helping getting ProjectGenerator working for 0.12.1 release
But I'm not using it anymore day to day, so I won't be actually working on advancements after the release.
What I'm using now is ofGen, which is a cleaned up version of PG,
It is not depending on OF so it compiles quickly (about 3 seconds)
and it uses a lot less code, so it is easier to maintain
If any interest arises later in adopting as a PG commandline substitute I can work on few missing functionalities and be responsible for the project

Research direction
Review the current ProjectGenerator implementation and compare it with the mentioned ofGen project. Identify the missing functionality and release requirements before proposing work, since the issue does not name files, tests, or a specific change. Done would require an agreed direction and a maintained command-line replacement.
