Description
The PG build instructions are based on an OF download, but the submodule there is tied to a specific PG commit. Which might make sense in terms of integration on the OF side, but not on the PG dev side.
The instruction in PG repo should produce a HEAD-based build.
Sister issue to untangle too: https://github.com/openframeworks/openFrameworks/issues/7609

Research direction
Locate the PG build instructions and inspect how the OF download and submodule commit are selected; the issue does not name a file or test. Compare that process with the related openFrameworks issue 7609, and consider the work done when the documented PG build follows the repository HEAD rather than a pinned commit.
