Description

I think it tries to rename to the same name and fails.

[ error ] ofFile: moveTo(): unable to move ""/Volumes/tool/ofw/apps/WerkApps/EmptyExample/EmptyExample.code-workspace"":boost::filesystem::rename: No such file or directory: "/Volumes/tool/ofw/apps/WerkApps/EmptyExample/emptyExample.code-workspace", "/Volumes/tool/ofw/apps/WerkApps/EmptyExample/EmptyExample.code-workspace"

Research direction

Start with the projectGenerator CLI's vscode template handling and reproduce generation using the project name EmptyExample. Inspect the workspace rename step shown in the error; done means the vscode template generates the expected EmptyExample.code-workspace file without the move failure.
