Description

it would be amazing if ofBeginShape()/ofEndShape() and ofPath supported tex coords (maybe ofTexCoord() and addTexCoord()).

this would allow for drawing arbitrary subsections of an image, or for creating an ofMesh that is texture mapped by an image.

processing handles this with extra arguments to vertex() http://processing.org/reference/texture_.html

Research direction

Start by inspecting the ofBeginShape()/ofEndShape(), ofPath, and ofMesh entry points named in the issue. Determine how texture coordinates should be exposed, including the proposed ofTexCoord() and addTexCoord() APIs, and verify that the result supports arbitrary image subsections and texture-mapped meshes.
