Description

It is possible to set emscripten_set_main_loop_timing in ofxAppEmscriptenWindow.cpp here:

void ofxAppEmscriptenWindow::update(){
        emscripten_set_main_loop_timing(1, 2);
	events().notifyUpdate();
}

Does it make sense to implement the function and is there a way to call it from ofApp.cpp?

Research direction

Start in ofxAppEmscriptenWindow.cpp, inspect update() and the existing emscripten_set_main_loop_timing call, then check ofApp.cpp for the intended public entry point. Determine whether the timing function should be exposed through the application API and verify that callers can use it from ofApp.cpp.
