Description

Hi!

When working with ofxAssimpModelLoader, I noticed that rendering meshes with drawWireFrame() overrides any blend modes set with ofEnableBlendMode(...). Blend mode is stored the helper class ofxMeshHelper and applied in the rendering methods. It would be nice to have a flag in ofxAssimpModelLoader or similar to easily enable/disable using blend modes in ofxAssimpModelLoader rendering methods.

Research direction

Start by inspecting ofxAssimpModelLoader and the ofxMeshHelper rendering methods, especially drawWireFrame() and where blend modes are applied. Reproduce the interaction with ofEnableBlendMode(...), then determine the smallest exposed control that makes blend-mode use optional in the loader's rendering methods; done means wireframe rendering no longer unexpectedly overrides the selected mode.
