Description

I have a minimal program that draws a rectangle. If I try to save the image with ofSaveFrame() inside the draw function, the program crashes. It runs fine if I remove ofSaveFrame().

The exact place where it crashes is in ofPixels.cpp line 1162: memcpy(line.begin(), lineSrc.begin(), stride);

I tried both FULLSCREEN and WINDOW with the same result. glReadBuffer(GL_FRONT) does not help.

Laptop with ArchLinux, Intel 4400 GPU (I believe), QtCreator, clang 3.9.1.

Can I provide any more useful details?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the crash on Linux with the minimal rectangle program and ofSaveFrame() inside draw. Inspect ofPixels.cpp line 1162 and trace the frame-saving path from ofSaveFrame(); done means saving a frame no longer crashes in both WINDOW and FULLSCREEN modes.
