Description

This issue leads to many bad behaviors when cleanups are done in ofBaseApp::exit().

I think that the code atexit(ofExitCallback) in ofInit() is bad since the oF app dies at first and then the program dies (cleanups must be done before the app dies).

Can anyone reproduce this? Since this is a deep issue, I'm afraid that this could be false-positive

Research direction

Start at ofInit() and the atexit(ofExitCallback) registration, then trace how ofBaseApp::exit() is reached during normal shutdown and signal termination. Reproduce the reported behavior with a signal and compare callback and cleanup ordering. Done means the behavior is confirmed or disproved and the issue explains whether cleanup occurs before the application terminates.
