Research direction

Start by locating the definition and uses of ofVecX and ofParameter; the issue provides no file or test path. Check how the 0 and 1 defaults are established and compare them with the expected float limits. Done means the intended default behavior is established and the issue is resolved through an agreed implementation or documentation change.
