Description

if you clear() an ofVboMesh, it can be dirty if you load less data into it. workaround is to use mesh = ofVboMesh() (i.e., create a new object). i haven't looked into the specifics of this yet, but i'm guessing it's just that ofVboMesh has more things to clear than ofMesh.

Research direction

Start by locating the clear() implementations for ofVboMesh and ofMesh, then reproduce the case where an ofVboMesh is cleared and loaded with less data. Compare the state each class resets; done means the resulting ofVboMesh is no longer dirty without constructing a replacement object.
