Description
I went through a round testing on Windows 8 tonight with some of the examples. I think the default Sphere Resolution isn't high enough to be considered a sphere. I'll see how this looks on OS X.
Should we up the default resolution or just change the example to set a higher resolution? The old way this rendered looked better but I guess this is using the new 3D primitives and look a bit different.

Research direction
Start with the examples mentioned in the report and inspect how the sphere's default resolution is set in the new 3D primitives. Compare the rendering with the attached image and determine whether the default or the example should change; done means the sphere renders acceptably on the reported platforms.
