Description

This is sort of a global issue and is being partly addressed by @elliotwoods 's PR for ofDataPath #1523

Research direction

Start by reviewing the partially related ofDataPath PR #1523 and locating the remaining string-based path manipulation across the project. Audit how paths are passed to loaders, savers, and manipulators; done means the identified path handling uses Poco paths except at those boundaries.
