Description

Hello,
I needed alpha channel in short length video for a recent project.
In the forum there is some old zip file for a ofxAlphaVideoPlayer that is still working, but that's OS X & windows only as it's based on QT.
I'm working on linux, and I didn't find anything for GStreamer, so I modified the existing ofGstUtils and ofGstVideoPlayer.
Would you mind if I do a pull request for this?
I can also provide an example with a short length video using animation codec.
What do you think?

Research direction

Start with the existing ofGstUtils and ofGstVideoPlayer changes mentioned in the issue, and inspect how GStreamer video data is handled on Linux. Verify playback of a short animation-codec video with an alpha channel; done means alpha video works and the promised example is included.
