Description

Description

We'd like to add the Newsstand icon and Quick Reference All icons to Paragon.

Newsstand Quick Reference All

The Newsstand icon is already used in some places: once added, we will have to update those to reference the Paragon icons.

Considerations

Per discussion at the Paragon WG meeting on January 14, 2026, we want to decide whether we want to create a method of ingesting icons from Material Symbols, or if we want to simply upload svg files for icons to the Paragon repo manually.

In my opinion, we should begin by just uploading the svg for these icons. At some point, I think it'd be prudent to have a conversation on migrating to using Material Symbols in favor of Material Icons.

Research direction

No file or test paths are named. Start by locating the existing Newsstand references and the Paragon icon assets, then inspect how icons are added and rendered. Done means both icons are available through Paragon and existing Newsstand usages reference the Paragon icon; the issue also raises an unresolved choice between manual SVG uploads and Material Symbols ingestion.
